These caramel chocolate pretzels were super easy to make. Just dip pretzel sticks in caramel, then melted chocolate, place on a Silpat mat or parchment paper and sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles.
I made my own caramel but it's the first time I tried the recipe and I cooked it a little too long so it was kind of crunchy and I wanted it to be soft. I'll have to experiment before I post a recipe for that. You could just melt down caramels that you buy - it would save a lot of time.
For the chocolate I melted chocolate chips in the microwave with a tiny bit (probably half a teaspoon) of shortening just to keep it smooth and shiny and so it wouldn't harden too quickly.
